What is E-Statement?
An E-Statement is an electronic version of your account statement that you receive either monthly or quarterly. It provides you an alternate way to receive your monthly or quarterly statement, utilizing secure Internet-based technology.
How do eStatements work? E-Statement service?
To access your E-Statement, you will need to be an Online Banking user. You will be notified through the e-mail address you provide to the credit union, each month or quarter that your E-Statement is ready. A link to Online Banking will be provided in the e-mail notification. After logging into Online Banking, you will then see the eStatements option. You will be able to view your statement right from your computer, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Internet.
Are eStatements safe?
All security precautions have been taken to ensure the confidentiality of your electronic statement. Logging into Online Banking ensures your E-Statement is safe as you are accessing your statement through a secure site. Omni Community Credit Union uses a high level of available technology in security, firewalls, and encryption.
How do I Back to eStatements?
After you have logged into Online Banking, select the link to Back to eStatements. Simply enter the requested info and provide your current email address. That’s all there is to it!
Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail?
No, your paper statements will stop once you sign-up for eStatements. If you sign up for eStatements by the last business day of the month, your next statement will come electronically.
How and when will I receive my E-Statement?
Each month, you will receive an e-mail notification that your E-Statement is available. You will be provided a link to access your E-Statement.

Historically, you have waited for your paper statement to be mailed and delivered. With eStatements, you avoid the traditional mail delivery, so you will receive your statement sooner.
How much history is available for eStatements?
eStatements will eventually be archived for up to 12 months. If you just joined the credit union , your E-Statement archive will begin with the month you signed up for eStatements. If you need a copy that is older than 12 months, please contact the credit union.
Will my E-Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Your electronic statement will look very similar to the current paper statement. It will have the same layout, colors, and graphics.
Is there a charge for eStatements?
No—eStatements are free!
How do I cancel my E-Statement?
You may cancel your E-Statement service at any time through our Preferences page. It may take up to forty-five (45) days from when you receive confirmation that your eStatements have been cancelled for you to receive your next monthly mailed statement, with all subsequent printed and mailed statements arriving monthly or quarterly thereafter.
How do I save my E-Statement for future reference?
Initially, members will be able to access one, two or three months of archived statements, as history accumulates. You will have the option of printing a hard copy of your E-Statement or creating a folder on your hard drive and moving or copying the PDF file into it. To save a copy of your E-Statement, click on the 'Save A Copy' Icon (picture of a floppy disk) in the Acrobat Reader toolbar. Then select where to save the file on your computer. Note: You must click on 'File' in the Acrobat Reader toolbar to save a copy, not the browser's toolbar (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.).
What if I change my email address?
To change the e-mail address your eStatements notification is sent to, log into Online Banking. Select the eStatements link and click on change E-Statement preferences. You can update your new email address in the boxes provided, then click the submit button.
Is there a way to increase the size of my eStatements?
eStatements require Adobe Acrobat Reader software to be viewed. You may disable the Acrobat Reader feature that requires the E-Statement document to open within your browser (i.e., Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.). It will then open your E-Statement in a full, separate window. Follow the directions below to enable this feature.

You may also adjust the zoom % within the Acrobat Reader main toolbar. This will allow you to change the level of magnification of the document. This will not affect the size of the document when printing.
  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader
  2. Go to Preferences/General Preferences under File or Edit (depending on your version of Acrobat Reader).
  3. For Acrobat Reader 4.0:
    Uncheck the box for 'Web Browser Integration' located under General Preferences.

    For Acrobat Reader 5.0:
    Under Options, uncheck the box for 'Display PDF in Browser'.
  4. Click OK. Close Acrobat Reader and all browser windows (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.).
  5. The next time you access your eStatements, Acrobat Reader will appear in a separate window containing your E-Statement.
What is a PDF file?
PDF (Portable Document Format) is a universal file format that preserves all the fonts, formatting, graphics, and color of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as intended by anyone using Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
What is Adobe Acrobat Reader software and why do I need it?
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software used for viewing and printing electronic forms. You will need this software installed on your computer in order for your computer to download, display, or print your statement.
