Battle Creek, Mich., April, 2009 – OMNI Community Credit Union, headquartered in Battle Creek, Mich., is proud to announce that its Chief Operations Officer, Senior Master Sgt. Paul Downey of the 110th Fighter Wing Communications Flight, has been named Senior NCO of the Year.  Downey is a network infrastructure systems craftsman and the NCOIC of the Standardization and Evaluation section for the Michigan Air National Guard.  He joined the Michigan Air National Guard in 1994 and has 15 years US Army Reserve service.  He has deployed to Italy in support of Operation Deny Flight and to Shaw Air Force Base, Afghanistan, and the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
