Battle Creek, Mich., July, 2009 – OMNI Community Credit Union had a successful first year of fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Team OMNI participated in the event in Battle Creek, Sturgis, and Richland where they won first place for Rookie Team Fundraising and Online Fundraising. They also helped sponsor the Kalamazoo event. Some of the fundraisers done were a garage sale, t-shirt sale, BBQ, and a silent auction. The money raised for Relay for Life goes to help fund cancer research.
