Battle Creek, Mich., October, 2009 –  OMNI Community Credit Union participated in the American Diabetes Associations “Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes”.  Team OMNI raised $885 for this year’s event.  All funds from the walk go to the American Diabetes Association to provide community based education programs, fund research, and protect the rights of those with diabetes.

“Diabetes is a serious illness, and OMNI is proud to raise money to promote awareness and research for our community” said Team OMNI Captain, Courtney Armour.
