Called a “Cash-back Rebate,” the dividends total $750,000 this year, with each member to get a share based on that member’s account and loan balances, the Battle Creek-based credit union said.
“Since our beginning in 1951, we have always emphasized the importance of recognizing our members for trusting us as their primary financial institution ... and instead of just saying so, we actually do something about it,” Chief Executive Officer Ted Parsons said.

OMNI says qualifying members will receive an extra 0.22 percent back on their 2009 average yearly loan and account balances, up from the 2008 dividend of 0.20 percent.
OMNI has more 33,000 members in Southwest Michigan.
