BATTLE CREEK, Mich., June, 2010 – OMNI Community Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to All Species Kinship through the “OMNI Gives Back” Grant program. All Species Kinship was selected because of its focus on providing free assistance to low-income Calhoun County residents.  The contribution will be specifically used for funding of the Creature Comfort Program, which helps families to stay united with their pets during times of financial crisis through provisions of pet food, dog houses, and other life enhancing pet supplies.



“We are proud to be recognized by OMNI Credit Union, and as recipients of their generosity, A.S.K. will be able to continue to reach over 400 dogs and 300 families annually, preserving the family pet bond,” said Sophia DiPietro, Executive Director for All Species Kinship.

OMNI is now taking applications for the third installment of their grant program, and invites all charitable non-profit organizations to apply no later than August 1.
