OMNI Community Credit Union recently donated $2,000 to the Leila Arboretum through the “OMNI Gives Back” Grant program. Leila Arboretum was selected because the funds will directly benefit the Children’s Garden, which provides quality outdoor educational programs for area schools.

“We are truly grateful for this gift from OMNI Credit Union. It is only through the help of our volunteers and financial supporters that LAS is able to provide quality programs that teach children and families about the importance of plants in their daily lives", said Brett A. Myers, Executive Director of Leila Arboretum Society.
"We are pleased to be of assistance to this organization that has provided so much to the area schools," said Ted Parsons, CEO for OMNI Community Credit Union. "As an organization, we continue to give back through our philanthropic efforts, and our staff’s commitment to volunteering in the communities we serve each year.”
OMNI is now taking applications for the third installment of their grant program, and invites all charitable non-profit organizations to apply no later than August 1.
